Dr. Mohan Dewan was invited to speak at the "Cyber Safety Awareness Program" on 15th December, 2015. The event was organized by the Maharashtra Police to prevent cyber crimes.

Dr Mohan Dewan had delivered a lecture on “IPR/Digital Piracy”.

The 2nd International Conference on IP Law Enforcement of IPR held in Delhi on 1-2 December 2015 in Hotel Eros, New Delhi.

RKD was one of the sponsors of the World IP Forum 2015 held in Bangkok, Thailand on 15-17 September 2015. Dr Mohan Dewan, Principal of R K Dewan & Co was a moderator for two events at the conference. He also interacted with the participants of the forum.

On behalf of R K Dewan & Co., Mr Paritosh Goyal & Mr Sujoy Mujherji attended the “Mumbai Entrepreneurs meet” held on 23rd May 2015 at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai. RKD had also set up a booth at the Ind-Expo 2015. RKD team interacted with the visitors and exhibitors to create IP awareness among all of them.

The 137th INTA Annual Meeting held in San Diego from 2nd – 6th May, 2015. One of the world’s largest and most attended trademark events, this conference offers endless opportunities for education and networking.

Dr Mohan Dewan (INTA Academic Committee), Dr Niti Dewan (INTA Government Officials Education & Training Committee), Ms Disha Dewan (INTA Bulletin Committee), Advocate Ameet Deshpande & Advocate Ajita Patki represented RKD this year. The team met with new and current clients and associates.

RKD had also organized cocktail events featuring a presentation on "Key Takeaways for Successful Trademark Prosecution & Litigation in India” on 4th & 5th May, 2015 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina Hotel and the same was presented by Dr Mohan Dewan.

Dr Mohan Dewan attended the IACC meet in San Diego, USA from 29th April to 1st May, 2015. He has been involved in anti- counterfeiting activities in India and trans-border anti-counterfeiting initiatives for nearly four decades now. He met with new and current clients and associates.

Dr Mohan Dewan attended the National Conference of Judges of District Judiciary on "Law &Technology (IPR and Cyber Laws)" and he had also addressed the district judges on the theme "Jurisdictional Issues in Trademark, Copyright & Patent Disputes” in Session-1 held on Friday, 10th April, 2015 at National Judicial Academy (NJA), Bhopal, India.

Ms Disha Dewan represented RKD at the 90th Conference of Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group (PTMG) held at the Hilton Molino Stucky hotel, Venice, Italy from 23rd – 24th March, 2015. The programme for the conference was "Paddling through the Pressures on Pharmaceutical Trade Marks".

Dr Mohan Dewan moderated the panel discussion in the India segment of the conference held in Mumbai from 11 – 13 February, 2015. RKD had also sponsored as a Lanyard Partner.

Mr Paritosh Goyal and Advocate Sahil Ahuja represented R K Dewan & Co at the PLASTINDIA 2015 conference in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India held between 6-7 February, 2015. RKD used this opportunity to create IP awareness amongst various business and brand owners.

Dr Mohan Dewan conducted a seminar for students of Indian Law Society’s (ILS) Law College on the current hot topic of ‘Patenting & Drugs’ on 6th February, 2015.

Dr Niti Dewan conducted a 4 hour seminar for faculty, post-graduate and graduate students on “Understanding the Basics of IPR” on 24th January, 2015 at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore, INDIA.

RKD was a Delegate Kit Sponsor at the 7th GIPC conference. Dr Niti Dewan, Dr Mohan Dewan & other RKD representatives attended the conference held in Mumbai from 15 – 17 January, 2015. Dr Mohan Dewan spoke in technical session IV titled “IP Cases and related judgements” and also moderated in plenary session II based on the theme “Enforcement of IP (Judiciary & Customs)”.

RKD was the Delegate Kit Sponsor at the World IP Forum held in New Delhi from 10 - 12 January, 2015. Dr Mohan Dewan spoke on “Significant patent judgments in India in 2014” as the key note speaker in the plenary session. He also moderated a session on “Significant changes in IP world for IT & Telecom” on the last day.

The Students of Deccan Education Society’s Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune (India) were addressed in a 2 hour session by Dr Mohan Dewan, Dr Mohan Dewan, on the topic “Legal Approach in Drugs Patenting Regime” on 10th January 2015, during the college organized ‘National Seminar on Medico-Legal Aspects of Protection of Life in Patenting Regime & National Judgment Analysis Competition.’ Once again, it was a highly interactive, knowledgeable & successful session.

Dr Mohan Dewan, conducted an intensive 2 day course on ‘Patenting Filing & Processing, Patent Writing’ at the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute for Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM) in Nagpur (India) on 7 & 8 January, 2015. RGNIIPM is a Central Government Organization under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. All of Dr Dewan’s sessions were very well received by the participants comprising corporates, advocates and representatives from research & development organizations & universities. The questions did not stop coming from the keen attendees right from morning even through the usually drowsy post-lunch time (!) and onto and beyond the close of session time.
